How did you get those specular surface bumps on the hat?...a particular brush?

No photo at all, just painted. If your light is correct you can make everything photo-realistic ;)

Thx Trenton, i made it with artrage with the standard brushes. this soft is pretty cool for the oil aspect and the perfect color blending. Try it ;)

...THAT'S AWESOME. Painting's one of those things I never could pull off, because it always takes so much time and effort.
